New Keystone Trustees

The Keystone College board of trustees recently announced its newest members.

William Aubrey II, Michelle Dempsey, Gerry O'Donnell and David Turock were elected to the board.

Aubrey, Clarks Summit, is returning as a Keystone board member. He is president and chief executive officer of Gertrude Hawk Chocolates. Aubrey is also chair of the board of Peoples National Bank.

A native of Springfield, Ill., he obtained a bachelor of science degree and a master of business administration degree from the University of Illinois. Aubrey and his wife, Jean, are the parents of three children.

Dempsey, Scranton, is president of DxDempsey, a Scranton architecture, design and planning firm. A LEED-accredited professional, she received a bachelor of arts degree in engineering from Lafayette College and a master of architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Dempsey opened DxDempsey in 2003. Previously, she gained professional experience at Bohlin Cywinski Jackson Architects and Beyer Blinder Belle Architects and Planners.

Dempsey has received numerous awards for her work, including a commendation by U.S. Sen. Robert Casey and the Environmental Defense Fund award for leadership in protecting the environment. Dempsey is married to John Cunningham.

O'Donnell is president and chief operating officer of Motorworld Automotive Group, Wilkes-Barre. He has served in numerous senior management positions in the automotive industry for more than 38 years as well as a board member to a variety of community and civic organizations, including the Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Business and Industry. He obtained a bachelor's degree from Boston State College, now the University of Massachusetts.

A Boston native, O'Donnell and his wife, Barbara, are the parents of four grown children.

Turock, Summit, N.J., began his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories. After leaving Bell, he founded three telecommunications companies. He sold his interests in those companies and used the proceeds to fund charitable organizations. Today, he works with a variety of social and philanthropic foundations.

After receiving his associate degree from Keystone, Turock received degrees from Syracuse University, Rutgers University, the University of Pennsylvania and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He and his wife, Nancy, are the parents of two children.
