BBC Conference Scheduled

A special focus on church planting and God's global plan it are among the key features of a Global Ministry Conference and Day of Prayer at BBC, to be held the week of Feb. 6-10.
The conference, entitled "Ecclesia (The Church): God's Global Plan" will include speakers, workshops, and ice cream sundae chats, offering a range of ways to implement church-building directives given in Scripture.
Featured speakers will include:
- Kristi Walker: an ABWE missionary with Team Berlin Germany. Kristi works with children and youth groups at CrossWay International Baptist Church in West Berlin.
- Robert Rodriguez: a church planting team leader in Astoria, N.Y. Robert has been working with Project Jerusalem, planting and helping to prosper churches in the New York City area.
- Reverend Samson Divakar: the founder and executive director of Beacon Baptist Ministries in Karnataka State, India.
Besides these speakers, information about missions, church plant opportunities and mission agencies will be on display throughout the week in the Phelps Student Center.
In addition to the conference, a special day of prayer will be held on Tuesday, February 7. Held each semester, this event gives students, faculty, and staff a special time to come together in prayer for needs on campus, at home, and worldwide.
