Members of the Lackawanna Trail Interact Club recently collected 1,200 items for their annual food drive. A contest was held to see which classroom could collect the most items and Mike Bluhm’s seventh-grade class brought in the most, with 303 items. Wendy Cathrall’s class had the most cans per student with 24. Items from the food drive will be given to the Dalton United Methodist Church for local families in need.
