The Abington Heights School District Special Education Department will host a parent information session on Monday, March 17, beginning at 6:30 p.m. This month’s topic is Bookshare which, according to organizers, is the world’s largest online accessible library of copyrighted content for students and people with disabilities. Through its technology initiatives and partnerships, organizers say that Bookshare seeks to raise the floor on accessibility issues so that students with print disabilities have the same ease of access to print materials as people without disabilities.

The information session will be held on the second floor of the Abington Heights School District Administration Building, 200 E. Grove St., Clarks Summit. For more information or for special accomodations, call Dr. Fran A. Rassoili, Abington Heights director of special education, at 570-585-8278.
