DUI: Jeffery Miller 41, Tunkhannock, was charged with driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol, driving during suspension for a prior DUI conviction, a traffic control signal violation and careless driving. Miller was stopped at 11:45 p.m. Oct. 16 after he was observed allegedly driving in a careless manner and through a steady red traffic signal on South State Street at Highland Avenue. His blood alcohol level was allegedly .092 percent.
Investigation: On Nov. 5, police responded to a domestic dispute on Clark Avenue. Police said the argument was over a child-custody issue. One of the parents left without further incident and no charges were filed.
Disorderly conduct: A 17-year-old Waverly boy was charged with disorderly conduct and underage drinking. He was charged after he appeared at a Carteret Drive residence at 7 p.m. Nov. 15 highly intoxicated from alcohol consumption. He did not know the resident but became disorderly while there and while police took him into custody.
False identification: Lisa Gaye Soloski, 60, Factoryville, was charged with false identification to a law enforcement officer, driving during license suspension and operation of a vehicle without an official state inspection. Soloski was stopped at 1:32 a.m. Nov. 19, after police observed faulty lighting equipment. Once stopped, Soloski provided police with a different name and date of birth that indicated she would be only 21 years of age. Lackawanna County Communications Center provided a picture of the suspect. The picture did not match her. She then reportedly admitted that she lied to police and provided officer with the correct information, which indicated she had a suspended license.   
Investigation: On Nov. 23, police responded to a domestic dispute at a Knapp Road residence. After hearing the complainant, there was no requirement for further action by polic. The complainant was provided with information on how to obtain a protection from abuse order.
Investigation: About 5 p.m. Nov. 26, police were called to a domestic dispute on the Morgan Highway. Once there, police learned it was ongoing child-custody dispute; no charges were filed.
