Employees at Highland Associates in Clarks Summit recently took part in the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute’s 11th Annual C.A.S.U.A.L. (colon cancer awareness saves unlimited adult lives) Day. C.A.S.U.A.L. Day is a dress down day where individuals across northeast Pennsylvania purchase and wear specially designed awareness T-shirts and pins to spread the word about colorectal cancer prevention and screening. All proceeds from C.A.S.U.A.L. Day support the ongoing efforts by the Cancer Institute to raise awareness about colorectal cancer risk factors and support screenings for low income, uninsured or underinsured individuals in the region.
