Karen Filipski of Throop and Zac Lehman of Gouldsboro recently won the blind draw mixed-up doubles tournament at the Scranton Tennis Club by defeating Bailey Dilts and Tony Malinauskas in the final. To reach the finals, Filipski and Lehman defeated Marion Reese and Joe Bailey, while Dilts and Malinauskas defeated Nidia Marchese and Frank Marcos.

In the men’s doubles event, Rob Azzarelli and Mordi Moritz took the title by defeating Rich Mahon and Alex Chang. Seth Kornfeld and Tim Aikman finished in third place, only one point behind the leaders in the round robin-style competition. A total of 34 players participated in the tournament.
