The Keystone College Concerts and Lectures Series will present a free multimedia presentation and lecture entitled, “Hiking the Endless Mountains,” by Jeff Mitchell on Tuesday, April 22, at 7 p.m. in Evans Hall at the Hibbard Campus Center on the college’s LaPlume campus.

Organizers say that audience members will see highlights of Mitchell’s hiking experiences, including photos of mountain and stream panoramas, seldom-seen flora and fauna and waterfalls. This event is being held in celebration of Earth Day.

Mitchell is the author of “Hiking the Endless Mountains,” “Backpacking Pennsylvania,” “Hiking the Allegheny National Forest” and “Paddling Pennsylvania.” Next year, he will publish his next book, “Backpacking New York.” Mitchell is also a board member of the Keystone Trails Association, a former board member of the Countryside Conservancy and currently serves as the Wyoming County district attorney.

Copies of Mitchell’s books will be available for purchase the evening of the lecture. Call Dana Harris at 570-945-8421 or email dana.harris@keystone.edu for more information.
