Pilates for Pink
The Absolute Pilates with Leslie Studio, 305 Carbondale Road, Waverly, will host its second annual Pilates for Pink class on Friday, Sept. 27, at 9 a.m. and at 10:15 a.m. Class costs are $10 and T-shirts will be available to order for an additional $6. The Arcadia Chorale (formerly the Robert Dale Chorale) will host a pasta sinner, featuring singing servers, on Saturday, Sept. 28, at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 550 Madison Ave., Scranton, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Take-out service will begin at 5 p.m. Tickets are $8; $4 for children age 12 and younger, and can be purchased at the door or by calling 570-871-0350.
Keystone Open House
Keystone College will host an open house at its LaPlume campus on Sunday, Sept. 29. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. and the open house will start at 9:30 a.m.
Prospective students and their families will have the opportunity to meet with faculty members and tour the campus. Information on admissions, academic programs, financial aid, scholarships, student life, athletics and the honors program will be provided.
Keystone offers 32 associate and baccalaureate degree programs in business, communications, education, fine arts, natural science, environmental resource management, geology and social sciences.

The Dalton United Methodist Church, 125 Turnpike Roadm, will host its fall rummage sale on Friday, Oct. 4, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4-7 p.m., and on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 8 a.m. to noon. Saturday, Oct. 5, will include a bag sale; bags can be purchased for $2 and $3. Revival and Healing Services
The Waverly Community Church, 101 Carbondale Road, will host a series of revival and healing services on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 4-5, at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, Oct. 6, at 11 a.m. and at 6 p.m. Services will be led by pastor Carol Chisenhall and worship leader Tammy Barber. The Humane Society of Wyoming County is sponsoring a low-cost rabies vaccination clinic for dogs and cats on Saturday, Oct. 5, at the State Department of Agriculture Building, Route 92, Tunkhannock, from 9 a.m. to noon. Dr. Colin Jeschke from the Abington Veterinary Center will administer the vaccinations. Cost is $6 per shot. All animals must be leashed or caged and under control at all times. A dozen of potato and cheese pierogies costs $8, while sauerkraut-, ham and cheese-, broccoli and cheese- and chicken wing-flavored pierogies are $9 a dozen.
