"The Power of Pink"
Duffy's Coffee House, 312 S. State St., will host a concert, "The Power of Pink," in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, from 6-11 p.m. Donations will be accepted for Candy's Closet, a local non-profit organization whose funds go directly toward those battling breast cancer. Performers will include: Isabelle Peters, Olivia, Masen Lounsberry, Gabby and Sophia, Jenn Johnson, Sarah Yzkanin and Keep Coming Back. Call 570-586-1380 for more information.
Keystone College will host a visitation day on Monday, Oct. 7. Information sessions and campus tours will be held at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Registration begins one-half hour before each tour.

Ventriloquist to Perform
Nationally-known ventriloquist David Pendleton will visit the campus of Baptist Bible College and Seminary, Venard Road, Clarks Summit, on Friday, Oct. 11, at 7 p.m. as a part of the school's homecoming celebration. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased online at www.bbc.edu/celebration.
The Friends of the Abington Community Library will hold their annual fall book sale on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Clarks Summit United Methodist Church, 1310 Morgan Highway. Fall Craft Show
The Newton-Ransom Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary will host a fall craft show on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Newton-Ransom Volunteer Fire Co. Hall, 1890 Newton-Ransom Blvd. There will also be a cookie, soup and bread sale during the event.
