The Clarks Green United Methodist Church, 119 Glenburn Road, will hold its annual bunny breakfast and egg hunt on Saturday, March 16, from 9:30-10 a.m. in the fellowship hall. Crafts, games and pictures with the Easter Bunny will be available following the breakfast.
Ghostlight Productions will host open auditions for its fifth annual Shakespeare in the Park, featuring "The Merry Wives of Windsor," directed by Jeremy Kemmerer. Auditions will be held on Sunday, March 17, from 2-4 p.m. and on Tuesday, March 19, from 6-8:30 p.m. in the Ryon Room of the Abington Community Library, 1200 W. Grove St., Clarks Summit. Auditions are open to all members of the community age 16 and older.
Participants are not asked to prepare any material in advance, but are encouraged to read the play beforehand and to know which parts he or she would like to audition for. During the audition, participants will be asked to read excerpts from the show provided by the director. This year's performance dates are Friday-Sunday, May 24-26, and Friday, May 31, through Sunday, June 2. Email Rachel Strayer at email@example.com for more information.
The Dalton Fire Co. and ladies auxiliary will host their annual pancake supper on Saturday, March 23, from 5-8 p.m. at the Dalton Fire Hall, 109 S. Turnpike Road. Tickets are $8; $4 for children younger than 10. Take-outs will be available. Visit www.dfcfire.com for more information.
Softball Meeting Notice
The Valley Petunia League will hold its mandatory scheduling meeting for 12-U coaches on Sunday, March 24, at 6 p.m. at the American Legion post at 508 Church St., Jessup.
