All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast
The Clarks Summit Fire Co., 321 Bedford St., will host an all-you-can-eat breakfast on Sunday, Jan. 20, from 8 a.m. to noon. Tickets are $8, $5 for children younger than 10.
Wally Gordon Singers
The Wally Gordon Singers will begin rehearsals for their spring concert on Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 7 p.m. at the Clarks Summit United Methodist Church, Morgan Highway. Anyone interested in joining just needs to show up for rehearsals, which are every Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., no auditions are required. This year's concert will feature music from "Les Misérables." Film Showing
The Greater Scranton Area Roaring Ramblers Toastmasters Club will host a showing of "Speak" on Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room at Allied Services, 475 Morgan Highway. "Speak" is a documentary film that follows five characters as they participate in the largest public speaking contest in the world. Tickets are $3. Career Fair
Abington Heights High School will hold its fourth annual career fair will take place on Thursday, Jan. 31, from 10 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Any professional interested in participating should contact Colleen Parsells at 585-5300 by Monday, Jan. 28, to register.
Spaghetti Dinner
The Fleetville Volunteer Fire Company will host an all-you-can-eat spaghetti and rigatoni dinner on saturday, Feb. 2, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the fire house, located on Route 407. Faith and Science Series
The Countryside Community Church, 14011 Orchard Drive, Newton Twp., is hosting a seven-week faith and science worship series through Sunday, Feb. 10. The worship series, entitled "It Began with a Star," will explore the relationship of faith and science from the perspectives of scientists and of theologians.
