Events through Thursday, Jan. 24 are as follows:
- Friday, Jan. 18: Trivia Night: 6:30-7:30 p.m. Be competitive, challenge yourself and hang out with friends. Enjoy a game of Jeopardy, plus more trivia. Bring your friends and play to win prizes. Light refreshments will be served. Grades four to six.
- Saturday, Jan. 19: National Popcorn Day: 2-3 p.m. Celebrate National Popcorn Day with popcorn tasting, popcorn ball making and popcorn games. Grades four to six.
- Tuesday, Jan. 22: Winter Reading Club for Children: A six-week program to promote reading as a cold weather indoor activity. Theme: "Reading is Mammoth Fun." Each library visit earns you a chance to win great prizes. Pre-kindergarten to grade six.
- Wednesday, Jan. 23: Meet the Author: Jeannine Luby: 4-5 p.m. Jeannine will read her book "Wartz. . . And All" and invite children to participate in a special craft. Ages 7 and older.
- Thursday, Jan. 24: La Chiacchierata: Italian Discussion Group: 7 p.m. All are invited to join our new "Friends of the Italian Language" conversation group. Tap into the Italian language and culture by practicing the language. All levels of language experience welcome. Facilitated by Stephanie Longo. No registration required. Grade 10 to Adult.
